We can always count on our friends over at Hypebeast for the best sneaker picks. So today, we’re taking a page out of their book (website) and showcasing four of our favourite designer sneaks (and loafers) for men.
First up, it’s Jimmy Choo. Yes, that Jimmy Choo. (Side note: When I went to New York for the first time almost a decade ago, my friend and I did the Sex and the City tour. Don’t knock it, it was fun. One of the stops was the Jimmy Choo store in honour of Carrie’s love for the brand. It was pretty much just a shoe store.)
On another note, we’ve discussed camouflage attire before (here if you need a refresher) and I am always hesitant to sport it but these fall/winter 2012 loafers would be great. If only they came in women’s sizes.
In collaboration with Malibu Hiking Sneakers, this shoe is credited as Yves Saint Laurent but now, is it Saint Laurent Paris?
The Silver Foil Replica Sneakers by Maison Martin Margiela are draped in a metallic silver paint covering. So Back to the Future.
And finally, the the Lanvin fall/winter 2012 New Trainer collection. The shoes are available in five colour combos and have python-embossed leather paneling. Alber Elbaz is so cute.
